I messaged him to explain the 2016 London Marathon and 2015 Norwich Half.

I doubt he will answer but I will post if he does.

I just assume that anyone who "runs for charity" is completely full of it and a scammer until they can provide hard proof otherwise.

True charity doesn't involve "look at me!" approaches.

Not so fast on the Norwich Half 2015. 474 is his place number not his bib number. He also has a photo of a bib in his facebook with number 664. And the race photos show him wearing 664.

He could have easily answered the Norwich one of he bothered to correct us. That should have been simple for him to say I had the wrong photo.

Dunno what he does for a day job, but he should be in promotion and marketing because he's done a pretty good job of putting himself out there, he's even tried to get royalty involved.

OK, so he's been economical with the truth and embellished things a bit, but hey, it's for charity so harm done, right?, means justifies the end and all that.

He's Royal Air Force Reserve ground staff, so virtually zero opportunity to be a hero and put yourself out there, so running is his way of doing so, pity it's phony.
