Isn't this the entire issue with PED's? - that they enable the body to perform at a higher level than it can do when operating with just its "natural" production of hormones, cells, etc? This may not be optimal for long-term health as the body may try to readjust itself over the long term following PED use but we are talking about a short-term objective of trying to push the body to the extreme limits of athletic performance.
Irrational thinking that doesn't answer my question. If it was an advantage to have more RBCs as you train more, your body would produce more.
You're thinking in the drug obsessive way, not grasping the reality of how awesome your body is. Your negative emotions over ride your positive emotions. Your feeling of inferiority as an athlete is surely all in your head?
You are only as good as your fitness. But that is something people don't want to accept.
