Humans obviously survived hunting, gathering, and escaping predators without footwear. Why would it be necessary? Even if we accepted the arguement that we did not evolve on concrete, why not take a small piece of earth with you? The smashed up, compressed, firm EVA found in the H Street has far more similar responsiveness to earth than the squishy foam of a Pegasus or Kayano. And how much is enough? Why 12mm? Why not 6mm? Where do these numbers come from?
