No. They were a sign that he was better at longer distances.
If you guys watched his interview the day before his 1500m race, he said he was taking it as a speed workout. Great strategy and great workout. He is on pace to do great things!

Nobody suggested that Hall did not have a great career with some remarkable races/times at the HM and marathon distances.
Please get a clue. Preferably before posting.
You don't think the reason he never ran faster might be that he ran only one other 1500 in his career, when he was nowhere near peak condition? The championship 13:16 doesn't suggest to you that he "had more in him" than a 4-minute mile?
