Im fine with women getting abortions

-I do not think the programs should be a lifestyle, hand up not hand out blah blah..
and yeah.. wasting your time playing video games for hours and hours upon end is a tremendous waste of time.
Wow, I agree with all of this. So now I have to decide if I'm a conservative dem or a liberal rep....
...or just someone who has a serious lack of gray matter.
Well when you turn 15 let us know.

I have to agree. People spend hours and hours sitting on a couch playing video games..."pathetic" is the only word to describe it.
This. At least it gives me someone else to look down on.
14 is the age I quit playing the pinball machines at the bowling alley.
Switched to pool. Better money.
There are many games that have been designed specifically for the adult audience.

I look down on people who are “gamers” for a living. These people just don’t want to contribute to society in a meaningful way. I don’t care how much money you make through twitch and I don’t care if it’s more than I make, you’re still a joke.
Imagine your child on the playground with his friends. One kids dad is a teacher, another is a surgeon, one writes software, another runs a construction company. Then your child mumbles that his 36-year old dad is a “gamer”.
Do you want your kid to get picked on and laughed at because you play hours upon hours of some lame game and post videos of it on the web?
Don’t embarrass your kids.
BTW, the last time I played a video game console was when I was in the 10th grade and even then I knew I was wasting my time playing it.

Your a prick. Some games are made for adults. I make hid 6-figures and still play them. I know guys in there 60s that still play them.
Yes, and skateboarding.
How much do I have to learn? I have 2 PhD's and an MBA. I teach at the local college. I do consulting work for local business entities. I earn well over 200k per yr. My kids are grown and have great careers. My wife has passed. I still enjoy gaming. I don't see what the harm is. I have been gaming for over 40 years.
Just like 99.99 percent of everyone, I thought that when I grew up I'd be playing all the best video games non-stop and eating candy all day.
I've got a PhD and a JD, used to be a professor at a military university, do stuff that could be considered data science. I don't earn as much as you but easily over 100K. I played Pac Man 40-ish years ago and have taken up gaming in the last few years.
It's so much better than it used to be. Games like BOTW and Skyrim let you accomplish things so many different ways. Others like Witcher, Ghost of Tsushima, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Disco Elysium are a medium for stories which is more engaging than books or movies.
OP is terrible at video games.
Been playing Tecmo Bowl since the 90's, play a game a day and have no reason to stop, love the games.
So what is the problem? Ah.....retired $$$$$ set for life.
I don't see the problem with it as long as it doesn't take over your life. Most people have hobbies. Some people like video games. If someone was playing for many hours a day and it was affecting their relationship, work, health or friendship that's different, but I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with video games. Just like films, TV, board games, magazines and so on.
I don't play video games personally, I don't have a console and the ones I tried online ended up hurting my hands as was using a trackpad not a mouse. I just think they're not for me - I'm not really a fan of board games either. I do like the arcade though but there isn't one near me.
