Froome produced a TUE after he returned a result...not before. I am not saying Armstrong's wasn't a cover. I am simply saying Froome didnt follow the rules either. For you to say "nothing dodgy here" is to report information which you are not certain about. Be fair.

I didn't answer your question because there is no answer. Or it could be inferred from your information (Although I know this isn't what you are saying) that there are those who are "In" and those who are "out" within the world of cycling regarding who "tests" positive. As in the fix is in for teams like SKY, Argos-Shimano and Garmin (who has a roster of former dopers)

An interesting example that you dance around is Mick Rodgers. He rides for SKY, no positive. He moves across to Saxo-Tinkof and he tests positive for Clenbuterol after racing in China which is rife with Clenbuterol contamination in meat. So a guy in the twilight of his career with dodgy history (training with ferarri et al) suddenly decides to start using Clen after departing Sky?

As for Garmin having ex-dopers. That's the whole point. They are ex. No positive results. They get good results against people who do clenbuterol and EPO.

As for M Rogers. I would accept that argument if it happened on Garmin but he is with Contador who failed on the same issue.

As for Froome. You seem to cut Rogers more slack.

As for my question. Did you answer it?

Are teams who state a clear position they will not dope (Sky Garmin Agos Shimano) doing as they say? Their test results back them up.

If so, are not their results showing that EPO etc is NOT needed to reach peak

I did answer your question. Are they doing as they say? I don't know. You don't either. Your fandom is allowing you to create perceived clean and dirty teams. the reality is no failed tests does not mean that there is no doping going on. You can hope that there are clean teams that you like but its just a guess and a feeling.

He was screwed by Trek, and LA.

LA, pre cancer couldn't stay with him. Post cancer, and his advantageous meds it was a different sport. The drugs were ramped up. Lemond would easily have 5 had he not gifted Hinault and hadn't gone hunting. But that is sport.

Not quite true. blood transfusions produce nearly the same effect. it seems that, once the test for EPO was developed, most professional cyclists, like LA, switched back to blood transfusions during races, when they knew there was a high likelihood they would be tested.
