Thoughts on Woody Allen sexual abuse claims?

I have learned that it's really hard who to believe with the whole Dylan Ferris thing.

The marriage to his partner's adopted teenage daughter still strikes as a bit more than creepy especially when you're Woody Allen and you can have the choice of many, many women. Maybe he just wanted a nice girl without the emotional baggage of adults. I'm like "Bro, we all think teenagers are cute and lively. That does not mean we have to marry them."

We also have no idea what causes gravity, but I am pretty certain what happens every morning when you drop a bowling ball on your head (as would seem to be the case, given your posts). Similarly, I cannot, "prove" anything, but I have an opinion, and the prosecutors in Manhattan probably do to. He is being watched.

You can claim an, "Innocent until proven guilty" defence. The circumstances - his predilection for young young girls, and the +20yr claim of sexual abuse - would indicate he is a pedophile.

I have no, "proof" of this, and there probably will be none. But his behavior and the variables around these claims bolster the idea that he prefers sex with children.

When it is a claim filed w/ the prosecutors office in 1992 and a letter in the NYT, it is not gossip. This is happening, in real-time, in Manhattan. Believe it or not, what is said on LR will not make or break Woody Allen.

People said the same thing about the claims against Sandusky.

They said the same thing 30 years ago about claims against Catholic priests.

Seems like most people falsely accused of something like this immediately sue for defamation. Allen is notably quiet on this front.

Did not think it was gossip at first, but I looked a little into the history back when everything went down in 1992/1993.
