Whoever published the article is going out on a bit of a limb with it because it's independent research. Also, Herzog just isn't a big deal. If it were someone doing independent research on Mo Farah, then other news outlets would report on their reporting. But with the World Championships going on, what's the point of doing some secondhand reporting on someone who A)hasn't failed a test and B)isn't a top tier runner? Long story short, the story isn't solid enough or interesting enough.
