The poster claiming she ran 4:24 at the end of the workout is either trolling or made a typo. I'm not sure she could even run that time in a race.If true, that would probably mean she came through 1500m at around 4:09 which is faster than her PR.

Yes!!!! They will both qualify! Hasay will run a 31:41 and Erdmann will run a 31:48. They will both qualify. On to Worlds!

Who knows, that is why we watch the races.
As I say, I never predict races.
One thing I think is good, though, is that the IAAF allows women to qualify in mixed races this year.
I actually think it is kind of cool that they are going to get an "escort" team around them breaking the wind and keeping them on pace.
(Okay, no breaking wind jokes.)
It seems obvious to me that she's getting thyroid meds and probably other shady drugs. She's always been "well rounded" but now her body fat percentage has plunged. And that's exactly why body builders take thyroid meds.

which just shows that this is a time trial and not a race - how USATF and IAAF allow this for qualifying is an embarrassment.

Friday--- I had some pacing duties with Tara and Jordan. If it wasn't for the little stiffness in my legs I might have thought their workout was easy, but man it started to get pretty tough. 6 X 1 mile with a 400 jog gets hard real quick. Average under 4:50 for all six.
