Nice, I think they can definitely drop times from the 3 distance legs too. Carter being a 1:53 guy and Brimstein has run 4:12 for a full mile. Also I was in the same league in high school as Tony George - guy is the real deal if he can stay healthy. Super athletic and talented, wouldn't be surprised to see him split 1:55 if they run it again.
I was at the meet and watched the dmrs carter looked like he had to much left when he crossed the line it wouldn't surprise me if he ran 3 flat or under. The rest if geneseo legs ran solo Brimstien probably could have been 4:10 if he had someone to run against. The girls dmr was very impressive as well great times for rit track
So any predictions for the sunyac dance this weekend? Upset alerts?
What happened to Plattsburgh? First that pitiful performance at SUNYACs and Regionals for XC and now 35th fastest time in the mile, 16th fastest time in the 3k, 15th fastest time in the 5k? A guy who was running 15:06 last year and I'm sure was hoping to get down in the 14:XX's this year is running 15:39? At this point I'm not even an angry alumn anymore I just feel sorry for the kids on that team.

60m-Bernstein (fastest over this actual distance; the 55m conversion seems a bit generous)
200m-Bernstein (defending outdoor national champ)
400m-Wheeler (calling the Oneonta sprints sweep)
800m-Mathews (great runner whose title is due)
Mile-Baker (close race, but with his finishing speed and the home court he goes FTW)
3k-Hess (pace is slow with few running fresh, makes a long drive FTW)
5k-Miles-Rath (Geneseo keeps pace honest, he passes Mateer on the home stretch FTW)
60h-Alviene (he's so much better than everyone else)
4x4-Oneonta (I said it was gonna be a sweep)
DMR-Geneseo (they'll pull something together)
HJ-Joyce (so much better than the others)
PV-Ferrara (a two man battle, but his consistency triumphs)
LJ-Winter (jumps are prone to upsets)
TJ-Richardson (hits a SB)
SP-Fox (again, just so much better than the field)
WT-Roth (can have an off day and still get it)
Team-Oneonta (tight one between them and Cortland, but Cortland's failure to bring home any wins hurts them)
Girls-Who cares?
This is hilarious, glad you're confident in yourself Oneonta

Here's the breakdown of distance points from yesterday for the guys in the 5 distance events:
1. Geneseo 54 pts
2. Cortland 50
3. Oneonta 28
4. Port 22
5. Fred 16
6. Platty 13
7. Buff St 10 (no Ngabo)
8. Oswego 8
Buff St hurt bad by loss of Ngabo (anyone hear anything about that? Will he run outdoor?). I'm sure there were others missing too (Marcantonio, Clark etc etc)
You're an Idiot. Haskins ran 4:17 at SUNYACS. Suck it.
Nooo wrote:
There's no way Haskins is running any faster than he did in December (4:24). Sure, he's got 1:55 speed but that doesn't equate to 4:18 or faster.
Anyone know why Oswego dnf'ed the 4x4?
ECAC Qualifier Times
Cortland- 38
Oneonta- 28
Buffalo St- 17
Brockport- 17
Geneseo- 16
Fredonia- 13
Oswego- 4
Plattsburgh- 4

The anchor leg ran into the 3rd runners from Cortland and Oneonta, fell off the track, and busted his eye open with the baton.
Anyone else thing that the banked track conversions are out ridiculous?
