The Canadian Indoor National Record for 3000m is Kevin Sullivan, 7:40.17. With a field like this run with, Levins can take a crack at that. Oh and the outdoor record is also Sullivan, at 7:41.61. So getting that record would make him the overall Canadian 3000m National Record holder.

If you don't think Silas is going to win this 3k you're kidding yourself. Look at his build, perfect for a 3k guy. He has incredible speed, but not that great for a 329 guy. he also ran 331 at altitude last year at the Kenyan Champs. He's gonna roll on mothaf**ckas!
I wish that he could run 7:40, but realistically, sub 7:45 would be tremendous for him. I would have rather seen him run a quality mile or a quality 5,000, since he already ran in a quality 3,000 this indoor season.
Maybe the NCAA will be that quality 5,000 (hoping at it doesn't turn in a tactical race).
