I'm from Southern California the best place in the United States. I speak Vietnamese Chinese, Korean, and Thai.
I could speak English. I just don't use grammar.

You funny dude. 19 not end of world. long life ahead and many marathons to run.
Forget your crush on deena. There will be others.
I love these men that act like pregnancy is like a mild case of indigestion or something. It's not just like you give birth to the baby, lose a couple of pounds and that's that. There are serious changes to the body that take place far beyond the obvious weight gain, and these changes take more than a year to revert. It's absurd that men here seem to think like pregnancy and birth is nothing more than like being constipated or something. The same people who will defend their favourite male runner using any cold, allergy, mild twinge in the muscle etc. , excusing poor performances with "he had a cold a month ago and he's not in top shape!" somehow are willing to savage a woman competing less than a year after serious physical and chemical changes to her body, as though it should only take a day after pregnancy to be back in top form. All the male runners you worship on here can't run because of pollen, or their 8 million injuries, or mental problems, or they fall, or their shoe came off and on and on and on, and here is a woman making no excuses getting out there after giving birth and running at a world class level, and you hate her.
AGREED!!!!!!!!! My feelings exactly.
they're doping in Oregon, hopefully they won't embarass our country.

I'm the youngster at the young age of 19 and have many years of running left. I'm the guy that want racing to happen right away.
Kevin, I don´t see any race results since that 1:58 half marathon almost a year ago. Are you still training? What is your next race?
Is Adriana Nelson eligible? Could she take a spot?

It would appear she is eligible, but qualified with a 1:13:01 half, so probably not good indication that she will make the team.
http://www.usatf.org/events/2012/OlympicTrials-Marathon/entry/status.asp#womenMy next race is 2012 Southern California Half Marathon. I took a break cause I'm studying at Santa Ana College. Now I make a comeback in 2012.
I also take up cycling but the races suck. I look at track racing but you're not allowed to use brakes. Any my commuting hybrid bike can't ride on the grass cyclocross. And chinatown firecracker race is 20 miles. I cannot ride over 13.1 miles.

I'm sure I'm going to regret asking... but what happens if you try to ride more than 13.1 miles?
Nope Wejo, Kara is not winning the trials, not gonna happen. Very surprising prediction from you and I can't believe you are serious, no way.
I splode!
Deena and Paula Radcliffe are the same age. Paula came back from pregnancy and fought through injury to run a 2:23 in Berlin with less than ideal training. Women do not decline with age as much as men do because they do not lose testosterone as quickly as men do.
Deena was regaining her form in 2010, finishing second to Mara Yamauchin at the NY half. She has managed pregnancy well and is the only one in the field with a major marathon win and an olympic medal in the marathon. She is definitely going to be in the mix.
Bump
It's always fun to go back and read these prediction threads. It's amazing how people could be so sure that Kara wouldn't make the team at all.

Great post. Kara Goucher is a stud and great race by her today.
