the high school girl in new jersey has a better chance of making the team than Hasay.
That said , she will have the home town advantage , she is loved by the Eugene fans and they will be behind her. We have seen it before , the athlete doesn't show it on paper to make the team , with sheer determination many an athlete have defied the odds and made it. She is capable I believe of doing just that.

I think she (and Vin) should go for it. I only hope she picks ONE distance and will focus on it. Losing her as a redshirt on the outdoor squad will disappoint no one more than her, but I think the addition of Grabill to the squad will certainly help.
