Look: Oregon barely got past Cal-Berkeley, and UNR beat Cal-Berkeley 52-31.
So does this mean that UNR would beat Oregon? Maybe, maybe not...you just never know until the teams meet on the field.

I can sort of agree with that, but the problem is that there is still another undefeated team, TCU. The other problem is obviously the eligibility of Cam Newton. I don't believe that Cam Newton DIDN'T know that his father accepted a payoff.

Isn't this sort of like saying the winner from D2 or D3 Cross Country should get on a bus and drive to the D1 race? Those athletes chose their school. TCU is an exceptional program. I am a WI fan and they soundly defeated the Badgers. While the score was close, I felt that TCU was better coached and made the necessary plays. WI did not. However, if those players or those coaches wish to compete for the National Title, they will likely need to beat top teams in non-conference games or simply go to a different school.

Err... huh? Boise? No way. If you're doing this AFTER the bowls, then you could argue that pitting #1 vs #2 was an unfair "opening round." Plus, Ohio State would be a better choice anyway.

A four team playoff, in place of the BCS games.. like this:
Auburn - Wisconsin
Oregon - TCU
Now, as it turned out, maybe Stanford would've been a better choice than Wisconsin. But not in November. With this four team playoff, you know what would've happened?
Auburn-Oregon for the title. Amazing, eh?

Not sure which game you were watching...TCU didn't win that game Wisco lost it. Remember they missed a field goal.

TCU is a great team, but let's be honest so was Wisconsin (and I'm not a Big Ten fan).
