Are you saying that Obama applied to college as a foreign student, or said he was born elsewhere in his applications?
And how was he able to travel to Pakistan when it was illegal for American citizens to do so.

Without a birth certificate there is no proof that woman WAS his mother, she certainly dumped him fast enough, crazy Communist woman could have just adopted him for awhile.
luv2run,
You believe he was born in Hawaii. Great, now tell us which hospital in Honolulu he was born at. You can't.

He didn't have a Columbia College thesis. He wrote a paper for an honor class on international relations (I think), but no one bothered to keep a copy (and I can't really imagine why they would have done).
All his legislative records from the Illinois State Senate are missing and he claims his scheduling records during those State Senate years are lost as well.
In addition, no one can find his school records for the elite K-12 college prep school, Punahou School, he attended in Hawaii.
Actually, the legislative records from the Illinois State Senate that relate to actual government activities are a matter of public record. He hasn't released his day to day notes because he didn't keep them.
If no one can find his prep school records then shouldn't someone be pointing the finger at the prep school? I certainly don't keep my school applications lying around for 30 years and I wouldn't be surprised if the prep school didn't either.

Because it wasn't illegal to do so.

Ah, snopes ever trustworthy.

Please see the explanation below with irrefutable supporting evidence to what just happened over the last week with regard to Snopes believing the the Kapi’olani Medical Hospital letter from the White House was authentic.
Snopes had Obama’s birth place at Queens Medical for the last several months.
A letter originally coming on to the seen back in January 24 was identified by WND by researching the Kapi’olani Medical Hospital Centennial who recently posted the letter on their site.
Within 2 hours, Snopes changed the birth location to Kapi’olani Medical Hospital from Queens in order to support the Kapi’olani Medical Hospital letter discovery by WND.
Now, with more research – the letter is found to be a hoax and within ONE HOUR of that discovery – the hospital removed it from the public view on their web site.

Hey, wow, another master of the cut'n paste method of arguing their point.

Why not? What does the Republican leadership, to say nothing of the Republican back benchers seeking to make a name for themselves, have to hide? Why won't they pursue this truth since it would make their goal of power so much more attainable? Why?
The Kapi'olani Medical Center claims to "know" the letter is real, but hospital spokeswoman Keala Peters refused to corroborate the content, specifically that Obama was born at her facility as the letter asserts.
"We know that [the letter] came from Mr. Obama," she said.
When asked how she "knew" that and how the hospital came to receive the message, Peters only stated, "[Congressman, now Governor about whom this thread started] Neil Abercrombie personally brought it."
At the hospital's Centennial Dinner Jan. 24, the same day the message in question is dated, U.S. Rep. Neil Abercrombie, D-Hawaii, read the letter's contents – straying at times from the actual text.

When I lost my hard drive after I graduated from college I tried to get copies of some of my term papers from that I had stored on a shared drive on the school's network. The school couldn't help me despite it only being a year after I graduated when I made the request. I hope nobody ever questions my birthplace when I get elected president.
So I think it would be completely ridiculous to expect copies of college honor's papers to still exist from 20+ years ago. Get a grip, dude.
By the way, could you please cite sources to all of your outlandish claims? Preferably not some conspiracy theorist list serve.
Not that it's important, but didn't Obama attend Columbia University in New York and not Columbia College in Columbia, MO? Just a point of clarification.

Eric, you are right, it's not that important, but your "point of clarification" is really lame.
People say "college," all of the time referring to their university, or someone else's. I went to a university, but I still mention "going to college" as a big part of my life and still enjoy "college basketball," played by my university.
You had to have heard of people using the word "college," this way before. There's no need for you to get snide and bring up some school in Missouri.

Very true. I hope you enjoy your company on the far fringes of rational thought.
I've done a bit of googling on this overall subject and have discovered a nut-case world of birther fantasy that I, honestly, did not know existed before. Ah, the blessings of the internet!
It's all classic conspiracy theory nonsense--and conspiracy mongering has a very long and dishonorable history in American political life. Theories such as this make "sense" after you've drunk the Kool-Aid, and decided what you WANT to be true.
For the rest of us, it's a pathetic and useless waste of mental energy. There are vastly more important--and REAL--issues to be worried about.
I'll just post this here again as I do in all of these threads:
Are you guys saying this is fake, or that his mom filed a fake birth announcement. If so, why - he would've been a citizen by birth anyway.
The guy is the president. EOS

It doesn't matter what evidence you present, these people are crazy and will find some reason not to believe any evidence you do present.
They want so desperatly to believe that Obama was born in Kenya and is a crazy socialist who wants to bring America down. Forget the fact that most of his supposed liberal legistlation were Republican ideas from the 90's.
They just refuse to accept that their world is changing and that a Black man (half black) can become president.

Yeah, just like everyone was saying Stanford College choked at nationals, and Oklahoma State College had an amazing team this year. Plus on letsrun, we like to make fun of the College of Nike, er, um, Oregon. Nobody mistakes a college or universities name. College was used as part of the name in that case. Whoever wrote that shit is an idiot.
I hope people remember that the birther stuff origninated during the 08 primaries from the pro-Hillary camp.
http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2010-02-08/the-secret-history-of-the-birthers/
And Obama certainly could put a stop to it but doesn't want to. He wants the birthers around as an easy foil. (not a very unifying tactic btw).
A couple lawyers from the McCain campaign looked into it early on and concluded that there was nothing to birtherism.
The truth is if you follow the arrows, they all lead straight back to the D camp. Redneck, idiot, crazy etc.--hey if the shoe fits, guess they'll have to wear it.

I get that people use college as a general colloquialism, but one wouldn't say 'the College of North Carolina Tarheels' or 'College of California-Los Angels'. Unless of course you are a raving, conspiracy theorist loon who can't keep his facts straight like the poster I was referencing.
So yes, it does make a difference if he calls a college by the wrong name especially if there is actually a school that goes by the name he used. BTW, the college I bring up has 30 campuses all over the country and several in Europe, so it wouldn't be a stretch for a famous person to have attended.
Just realized that zip zero nada came to my defense after posting my response. Thanks.

Obama is being held to a different standard because (1) he is black and (2) there is actually some hubbub (whether accurate or not) about his country of birth. I don't think there was any speculation that Bush wasn't born here. He was so stupid, he had to be an Amerikan.
Disagree. I think Obama is being scrutinized in this way because (1) his father was a foreigner and Obama lived outside the U.S. early in life and (2) this is politics.
Has any other U.S. president had a parent that was not a U.S. citizen? (Well, other than some early presidents.)
Politics is so ugly that either side will use anything possible to discredit the other side. Every mother would love for her son to be president, but no mother wants her son to be a politician.
College dorm, college campus, college football, college records.
The poster you two were ridiculing wrote Columbia college records, as in his records from college, at Columbia. __________ college records.
How do you get "Stanford College choked at nationals" from that? Or your equally preposterous "Oklahoma State College?"
English is my native language. People who hate birthers use terms like "college grades," "college transcript," and "college parties," too, even though they attended a university. One guy you disagree with says Columbia college records, as opposed to Yale college records, not high school records, college records, and you forget how English is spoken.
Stop letting your hatred for other points of view warp your memory of how the language is spoken. Attack the guy on the merits, if you wish, but __________ college records makes perfect sense in English.
