You're still on about this crap?

That doesn't answer our question WeJo...we want to know WHY webb and teg didn't race. WE KNOW YOU KNOW WHY AND YOU'RE STILL HIDING IT.
It is a CIA operation to distract from the Gulf of Mexico before the real disaster occurs with the methane explosion.

Webb: Remember in Semi-Pro when Jackie Moon tells that guy to take the check to the big check department at the bank?
Rupp: Yeah, that was funny! We should tell that to all the runners that just got big checks.
Teg: Boy, I wish Haha Yo (Super Cereal) was here....then we could kill him.
I actually want to give up following track and field when the only information out there on US Champions, Olympians, and American Record Holders is fake. Seriously if it is hard for me to find updated information on runners like Tegenkamp, Webb, Rupp, and Solinsky it must be impossible for less hardcore fans. Rupp, Solinsky, and Teg all have twitters but Solinsky is the only one that updates it regularly. Ritz is the model professional runner in terms of doing what he needs to do to build fan support. He has an in depth blog where he gives feedback to fan questions.
Why can't we get any serious update on Webb? I'm a HUGE Webb fan and there has been almost no real information about his comeback for over a year.
At least Salazar or Schumacher should give updates on their guys. In most professional sports it is part of an athlete or coach's contract to address the media regularly. Right now in US track I don't think it's done enough and that's why most people don't care about professional track. The only people that follow pro track are people that ran in college or were very dedicated high school runners.
Nominated for post of the year. If we want to expand track and field, make it in to more of a mainstream sport, we need to stop the bullshit. That stunt obviously hurt alot of people. I simply don't understand it. If he wasn't planning on running they shouldn't have pulled all those stunts. The least we deserve is an explination from someone who is on the inside. The fan communication here is absolutely horendous. There aren't that many hard core track fans out there. When you pulll these kind of stunts all the loyal fans out there get super pissed off. You might think that it doesn't affect anyone but it does.
PS I would be honored if Teg knew my name.

Please come to Michigan...I can help you with your delusions. Seriously, it won't hurt a bit. It's a win-win. You go away and the LetsRun community can enjoy a Haha, Yo (super cereal)-free environment. Oh, how many people are buried in your basement?
Hmmm...yeah thanks for the offer but I'm actually good. Not sure what "delusions" you're talking about, just an avid track fan.
How ever rare this occurrence may be, I actually agree with Haha, YO (super cereal) on this one. If track does want to be taken seriously, the stars can't pull lame crap like this.

I don`t think is the CIA I think its the one without the initials that has been behind this. We all know how the one with out the initials works but we never talk about it cause if you talk about them you may wind up pushing daisys by nig

Rabid would be a better adjective! Furious; raging; extremely violent; very extreme, unreasonable, or fanatical in opinion; excessively zealous; Affected with rabies; Of or pertaining to rabies, or hydrophobia.....
Hmmmm...that seems to fit, based on your hyperbolic opening to this thread. Dude, get back on your meds.

Looks like I should be a part of random videos more often. Most press I have seen in a while.

You can't handle the truth! Son, we live in a sport that needs publicity. And that publicity has to be garnered by men with money. Who's gonna do it? You? You, HaHa, YO? Nike have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Webb and you curse the Swoosh. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that Webb's fake race, while tragic, probably brought publicity. And Nike's existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, brings publicity...You don't want the truth. Because deep down, in places you don't talk about at parties, you want Nike pulling this crap. You need Nike pulling this crap.
Nike uses words like ratings, Carol Lewis, advertising...they use these words as the backbone to a life spent growing a sport. You use 'em as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain Nike's impact to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very sport Nike provides, then questions the manner in which they provide it! I'd rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a phone and call a television executive. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you're entitled to!

Its very simple, Webb and Teg ran the race, they just didn't run in the sense you guys were assuming.
This explanation is still crap. So you are saying they pulled a dirty trick on everyone...isn't that basically lying? It is still something to be upset about.
like I needed more reason to hate Rupp and Webb
Way to make us hate him even more. What an insulting and oblivious response.
those elite guys racing in europe arn't trolling us
Webb could better draw attention to the sport by not freakin out like a little girl every time he races.
