everyone (desales, widener, lvc, messiah) ran decent at dickinson. etown looked solid at navy.
where's everyone racing the next few weeks?

Most teams will be hitting up the CMU preview course or Paul Short it seems.
Etown ran very well at Navy and I agree with you that everyone else ran decent. 2-5 is pretty close right now looking at what everyone has done of the past few weeks. Messiah has to get the nod for #2 though based on consistency.
Women's side looks like it has narrowed to just 3 teams up front, with Etown and LVC a little ahead of Messiah. LVC beat Etown at Dickinson but it was only scored through 3 runners. I think LVC was missing the Long though, I didn't see her in the results (track middle distance runner).
We'll see how all the teams do once we reach mid-season and everyone starts getting into better racing shape.
Any new predictions based on how the season has gone so far?
It's clear who the best teams are.
Individuals...How about Reichert and Cronin.
18 points for the Etown men. They did an alumni proud. On to regionals for bigger fish to fry.
pretty dominant victory by Etown. Not familiar with Del Val's course to compare with other conferences, but any time you have Office Booker rounding out your scoring with a 26:17, that's impressive.
Congratulations to E-town on their great performance, they look like they'll be able to do some real damage at the national level. Really a very quality, deep meet on the men's side. We've had runners performing better and moving backward in the conference which is a testament to how competitive it it getting.
Good luck to all MAC teams at Regionals! Coach O'Brien - LVC
Yes, their prospects for a big showing at the NCAA meet look good. Their women could qualify too- if they haven't plateaued...they have so many freshmen it's tough to predict...
It would be nice to see a few more MAC teams (LVC) in the hunt for NCAAs in the future.
How successful is the MAC going to be at Regionals beyond Etown. The Mid East is as good as it has been in a number of years (4 top 15 nationally ranked programs this week), but can the LVC, Messiah, Widener, Miseri, and DSU hang with the second tier Centennial schools (Gettysburg, Swat, Muhlenberg), or the top of the Landmark (Suqsu, Juniata, Moravian), our schools like Salisbury, St Vincent, Grove City, Gwynnedd-Mercy?
we'll be lucky if any other MAC team has any success on the regional level (I consider any success to be a top 10 finish) on the men's side besides Etown.
Newhook from Messiah should make it as an individual for sure though.
The real question is how much damage can Etown do when they get to the big dance in Iowa? Could we see an MAC team put up a top 10 national finish?
we'll find out november 13th, when it matters.
Messiah 19th and LVC 20th. Weak. Real weak.
looked like a 2 school dominance, Haverford and Go Hard Big Dick. MAC didn't look that strong
Anyone have any early season predictions for indoors?? Some strong races from a few guys already.
What are yours?

The 800 and mile are loaded.
5k indoors will be dominated by etown guys most likely
good question lol
DeSales brings back most of their squad as does Widener so the team race should be tight again. Etown should dominate the 5k. the mile and 800 are always up the air since guys will be doubling and tripling but I think most of the top contenders are returning like Newhook, Redmond, Conn, etc. Plus Speiden has just run 4:16. Sprints, you have Pitts and Innocent, maybe some tough freshmen. 400 is a race that is usually weak in the MAC and could go to whoever decides to run it fresh. Throws and Jumps are usually tight between DeSales and Widener, with other guys impacting the team scores pretty heavily. But it's still early and it's all about who's hungry enough to do the hard work now.
