Allegheny may have lost Coach Ross, but the new coaching staff with the average age of 24 adds a youthful spunk and spirit to take them to the NEXT LEVEL of competition. Watch out for those guys.

Isn't it time to dredge this up again?
Who will qdvance out of the region, and in what order?? Who will peak the best? This is where I worry if i run on for a new coach(Allegheny )or a team that peaks every year at the conferenc meet (dickinson). Is five teams a sure bet?
Women have an interesting battle after Hopkins and Dickinson. Competition is tight after that, but only 3rd place will be confident of getting in.
Men:
1. Haverford
2. Allegheny
3. Dickinson
4. Elizabethtown
5. CMU
All go to the big dance. Haverford wins NCAA title over NCC, though it will be very close. Anders with a top 5 individual finish.
Women:
1. Hopkins
2. Dickinson
3. Haverford
On a side note:
I can NOT believe how the rest of the rankings are going. The top 15 is an absolute joke. But I guess that will all show true next weekend...

You are wrong about 3 women's teams. There will be 4 women's teams going from this region. either Grove City or Etown will go as the 4th team because both have beaten ranked teams in other regions.
by the way, what did you mean by this?:
"I can NOT believe how the rest of the rankings are going. The top 15 is an absolute joke."
I mean there seems to be teams getting credit taken away because of times, rather than placings. Each week the 6-15 teams are flip-flopped like crazy. Teams keep coming and going for no apparent reason, or they are excluded all together. People need to stop judging times and start judging teams by who they've beat.
For example, Hopkins men when compared to Salisbury. Hopkins is a ton better than Salisbury, but because Salisbury has a home course that is 250 meters short they look better on paper. Not saying Salisbury is not good, but they just aren't as good as Hopkins. Or Gettysburg, Messiah, and how the heck St Vincent ended up in there at #10. Gettysburg and Messiah are legit, as is Susquehanna. One down week does not justify knocking them out. A down week is a down week! Not everyone runs well all year... and when a team does run well all year you have to be suspect of how long they can stay that good.
Just my thoughts, feel free to criticize. And I am not intending to insult these programs, coaches, or athletes. I just think some people need to look at the picture as a whole, not for just times.
Less than a week out now any final thoughts?
My top 5 teams:
1) Haverford - the two D's get it done depth and Donnelly
2) Allegheny - Gators have the front runners to keep it interesting
3) Etown - Young team thats coming on strong the 2nd half of the year
4) Dickinson - Some solid guys up front but a slight lack of depth hurts them
5) CMU - just a half step behind Etown and Dickinson but a full yard ahead of 6th place
All 5 make the big dance
What about individual qualifiers?
I wouldn't worry too much about the regional rankings at this point. Most teams focus on who they need to beat at the conference meet, but in all honesty the real and only true regional rankings will come out this Saturday after the race. I say this coming from a team that has been overlooked for much of the season.
The rankings, for better or worse, are only done by about 1/4 of the coaches in the region and I doubt they take the time to fully look at these things. They are fun and they have their place, but Saturday will settle the score.
thoughts?
Men:

3. CMU
4. Elizabethtown
5. Dickinson
Women
1. Johns Hopkins
2. Dickinson
3. Elizabethtown
4. Haverford
5. Grove City
Results?
I can't wait to see the pictures of people coming through the castle.
Haverford walked away with it pretty easily with 23 points. I can't remember point totals from the other teams, but Allegheny probably finished 4th or 5th as a team. Dickinson looked like they had a good race though and I'm guessing finished 2nd.
Haverford wins with 23 points, then Dickinson, CMU, Elizabethtown, Allegheny. Wow.
Where can I find individual results?
You called the women perfectly

The ladies at motion timing are functionally retarded. Ask them how Hershey Half went. You'll never see accurate results from those clowns.
For guys, Haverford and Dickinson 12 of the top 15. DOMINANCE for both of those schools compared to the rest of the region
I think Haverford is the number 1 team in the country. 27 points against 4 other top 20 teams. Wow. Dickinson looked great as well. Kid in 3rd came out of nowhere.
nice racing and was fun to see D III have some fun in the sun. E town looks like they had the bext day fro both men and women
