Well if you go by championships them Adams State is the best all time in the NAIA. They won 12 championships before moving up to D-2. They were also runners up 3 times. To view these stats go to

The rankings are out. Does anyone have any idea why Mary would have dropped so much. I can't seem to find any results. I see that Newell ran 23:45. Was it a super fast course because the results for others don't seem to point that way? Oh yeah I cheated to get the ranings early. So you may not be able to access them yet (11:00 CDT). I won't reveal my secret.
Its a toss up...lubbock and life were bad ass. You forgot about simeon sawe at lubbock that year too. Also at life during their hayday they had a bad ass one-two punch of silah mosoi and sammy nymongo, not to mention francis kirwa.
both of those teams were all foreign though, so Adams st. is my pick when they were in naia
Case Shay for Lubbock was an American as is his little brother Ryan Shay. Case was NAIA steeple champ and top 5 at nationals for LCU - he finished 8th overall and they won the championship that year and several other years with him on the team.
Shay was also, I think, an Olympic Trials qualifier in the steeple... or maybe that was thier other American Derrick?
of coz cmc number 2 guy is really good,i trained with them after my visit kenya 2000,peter rono told me he could make wonders if he takes running seriously,he had done under 3:45 altitude,he did 3:47 in one meet i was present,i was with kenneth koech-3:46 & 1:45 but they are not doing great, what the hell with NAIA.
the fact that they are in our conference am scared, the best mnu guys wont match nway!!!!!!
They ran at dakota state and it is short. Changes a little each year, I believe it is about 400m short. Mary did run pretty good but black hills beat them and ran the best they have run all year. And oh yeah, your secret is not a secret. Everyone knows to put the 5 over the 4 in the URL. OLD NEWS
I thought Milne was going to win it last year. I think he can this year. He is coming around slowly.
milne has no eligibility....
Not to bag on Casey (definitely a very talented runner, even though he got me in trouble one time), but I am pretty sure he didn't qualify for the trials. I could be wrong, though. I know he ran an 8:49st in 98 at Penn, but I never heard more after that.
Trying to think of LCs other steepler is killing me... Fox?? maybe?
I saw julius randich ans simeon sawe run the steeple in 8:40's high and then 21 MINUTES later they ran the 1500 and were 3rd and 4th in 3:45 or so. Yes 21 minutes.
Wasn't the other American Lubbock steepler named Fife?
snifff.... Barney?.... Barney Fife?
I'm curious...
Who's racing this weekend?
Minot? EO? The Kenyan teams?
Who the hell is Schmediberg?
I agree those Eastern Ore. boyz are sooo cute! Too bad the best looking one is already takin' with the marriage gig though. But, the other top runners suit me nicely:)
What is NAIA?
Wow you brought a thread back that I started nearly two years ago? You are crazy. Why?
