I agree, that the coach was fair game at that point, but she didn't need to mention scurry. I haven't heard how the interviewer actually posed the question though. If she was asked is she could have made certain saves, then she's just being honest. If she brought it up on her own that she could make the saves it's a low blow. Plus i don't think anybody would've stopped the own goal, so if she was saying she could've made all the saves then she is kinda full of crap. Everything else was pretty spot on though.
Plus the men's goalie situations was different, b/c they were both still very competitive keepers, not one who hadn't played in 3 months and rarely the past few years. Also, like somebody said, the coach didn't change from the keeper who got them to that point. The coach evaluated the talent based on recent play and made a choice. This coach made a decision based on 3 year old play.
