rihanna was born in 1988.
I have absolutely no idea what QFE means. Probably just as well

Correct. This is the worst song in the history of music.
It should be every man's obligation to punch whoever signed those guys in the face. I am angry just writing about it.

My vote is the song on the alternative station that goes, "Pain PAIN without love...Pain PAIN can't get enough!" Etc.
Thats by Papa Roach.. hardly alternative, but not a bad song. I liked "Hey There Delilah" for about 30 minutes when my brother was the only person I knew playing it back in April. Its annoying now.
Rhianna is actually a really good singer, but she can't help the shitty songs they get her to sing. I mean, it is all about the money in the pop music biz, so having a so-so song with a really annoying, but ear catching (not in the good way) hook is going to sell much better than a great wong with no hook. I have lots of respect for Rhianna, but none for her managers/producers. Or, for that matter, the popular music industry in general. There are some good bands still out there, and good music is still being made, but most of it never gets popular enough to hear.
I have to agree that this by far is the worst song of the summer. In order for an acoustic song to work you have to be able to sing, and not even fancy studio equipment can hide this guy's voice.
"Party Like a Rock Star" is up there for sheer annoyance. "I party like a rock star, sittin real fly on the top of my hot car" Absolute genius at work there.
And the Alanis cover of "My Humps" is damn good.
just for the running geeks...
"hey there delilah" is about the former columbia steepler delilah dicrescenzo
delilah and the singer's relationship depends on which side you ask.
"Hey there Delilah
What's it like in New York City?
I'm a thousand miles away
But girl tonight you look so pretty
Yes you do
Times Square can't shine as bright as you
I swear it's true"
(it goes on and on....)
true story.

Umbrella....(ella ella ella the realy annoying part)
Whatever the f*ck it is called. I just call it crap.
What is your vote for the worst song of the summer so far?
Just saw a ring tones thing were you could click and hear a clip. You are correct; Umbrealla is the worst song of the summer hands down. It's almost like a made up 'saturday night live' spoof. Given all the crappy songs there are, that says a lot.
I listen to 70's 80's stuff like JACK FM or on the internet wolffm.com No umbrellas there.

And you know this, how?
I am pretty sure the "pain" song is by 3 Days Grace, and its not that bad a song.
The worst songs this summer are anything by Fergie. I don't know how people can stand to listen to that crap.

There are people that just love to be spoon fed that stuff.
...like you, apparently. Have you ever considered changing the channel? Talk about the dumbing down of America, you seemingly cannot even work the radio.

I hate that song, I hate the guy singing it, I hate the lyrics, I hate the station that plays it...
It's horrible.
Every time I hear it I wish there was some Bluto charater near this guy to grab his guitar and smash it to little bitty pieces.
brandi carlile has a pretty bad song out there, her video is on every morning on VH1 and i just about want to shoot myself when i hear it. When umbrella comes on after it its actually a relief.
Hey Mr. Hardoff....
It was on the satellite station at the gym!
There have been several people like me who have asked them to at least for a little while change the music to a different station.
On numerous occasions the person at the front desk pulled the "race card" and gave a lame reason why we wanted to have the music changed.
Geez
Just can't win
btw,
that was a REALLY cool fact. Almost makes runners seem like they affec things, doesn't it?
Another bad one (which I do not know the name of) is this song where they have sampled about 70% of Supertramp's "breakfast in America" and then tossed a hip hop beat and some lame rap over it.
None of these people can play a musical instrument other then their own skin flute.
