Ha! OK, I shall take it under consideraion. However, I am thinking that the real issue might be your dislike / sensitivity to the word "crass". I did use "crass" twice in the span of 8 days (& these occurrences were the only times since the inception of the new board), during which time I am sure I posted more than 50 times. So, not that it was your intention, but I think your estimation of frequency was exaggerated, or, perhaps, crass.
In any event, I will disproportionately use other synonyms on a greater scale so that you will not have to read "crass" very often. In the meantime, you could make an effort to improve as well by typing more conscientiously... use the letter "r" (instead of "t") at the end of "for".
Please replace "consideraion" with "consideration"... oops, sorry!
I can't believe the low levels that running traitors are stooping to.
Exercising freedom and representing the U.S. at the same time?
Wake up, Seneca, and welcome to America.
Jason,
Lassiter was selected to represent the United States in this race with the intent purpose of scoring points towards the team title. He either a.) rabbited Lagat and threw his race or b.) was not fit to compete, as he now says, and went out at a suicidal pace just for kicks
Either way, he comprimised his agreement with USATF by not running the race to the best of his ability or by agreeing to compete while not in shape to perform well for the US Team. If he wanted to rabbit Lagat, this was not the place to do it. Even if he was at the Olympics or WC, that's a spot that he has earned, and can do whatever he wants to do with it. But this was a selection -- under the agreement that he is trying to score for Team USA. If he was going to rabbit for Lagat, that's a breach of contract. If he knew he wasn't in shape to do run the race, it's his responsibility to tell the USATF officials so that they can sub in an athlete who will have a chance to score.
Either way, he f***ed up. And 4:05 is such a deplorable time.
