1250... multiple injuries
4539 including what's scheduled through the end of the week + whatever I do on New Years Eve.
should come out to about 12.5 miles/day average
that's including taper/recovery weeks
still about 600+ miles short of my goal
It's going to be around 4350 miles or a little more by the end of the week (83.6 mpw). If I take out the down after a race back in June, the average is 85 mpw. 600 more miles than in 2005. My goal is to get over 5000 for 2007. All training is done in flats or barefoot. I'm a woman.

I sense a trend....
You should run 4500 miles next year. You would be untouchable!!!
780 if i run 4 miles a day untill new year.It was reasonable equally devided through the year. It was a lot of months 12 mi/week. couple of months 15 - 20 mpw. And a couple of high weeks where i jogged in 40-45 miles per week. The mistake then was that i jogged them to slow. I actually lost fitness in that period whilest being on my low weight.
For me its hard, hard, hard
Not had to stop once for an injury, had 3 days of sickness(well you know sneezing and stuff by coeinsence in the 2 months where mileage went to 20-45 mpw together with cycling 40 - 100mpw and swimming 10 mpw. A bit to much probably and not even effective for the running either. At least those 8 weeks of volume got me a decent place in a triathlon(not that i am a triathlete by any means, just a fun thing to do if yo have nothing else in mind).
i think i could come to 5 -6 hours of sports a week if you add that serious period of sports and the weight lifting and my weekly swimming session.

I should be around 4020 by year's end. My previous high was 4000 in 2003. Surprisingly, all my PRs are from these two years...
