Most people didn't seem to think the Pro Evo 1 or 2 was actually that much better/more efficient than other supershoes, but maybe Adidas found something different with the 3 based on today's results. I doubt a slight decrease to an already tiny weight makes that much of a difference on its own though. Pretty good chance Sawe and Kejelcha would run as fast or faster in Puma Fast R 3s, but I'm interested to see more data.
On has been doing the laceless gimmick for a couple years now, and their supershoes are probably still a step below the top brands.
