A top Canadian college cross country runner just ran like a 1:02 in her fist time out which is probably close to the top Canadian times ever in hyrox.
the normal pattern is it takes an event or two to really adjust and people drop a few mins on their second or third one after some even training. that would put her in top 15 in the world for the year.
Skinny runner would fail and most runners would struggle at first until they gained strength but a more built runner would only need like 6-12 months of strength work to be a top competitor.
