Well, a week later, we now know how good BB is when racing the few (just 2)? hs girls nationwide at her level.
Have similar high hopes for Blair this Saturday in San Diego. After racing up the Bowdoin Park mountain twice this fall, she should be well prepared to race twice up Morley Field's famous/infamous Upas St. hill. Just needs to make sure she conserves enough energy for that second ascent followed immediately by the final downhill 600 meters to the tape.
