It's a 5 1/2 hour drive, which is a lot for me. It would be fun to meet the Letsrun crew, but (a) cross country isn't so spectator friendly and (b) some runners, like Grant Fisher, evidently do not think this event is that big a deal.
I dunno, a 5 hour drive is a lot. I guess I would just wait the 30 years for it to come back to the States.
I attended the Marathon Olympic Trials in Orlando and wore my LetsRun t-shirt. Not one person approached me, so not sure how the well the 'meet the Let'sRun crew' will go.
haha it's not surprising, but it's funny to hear that wearing the LetsRun t-shirt resulted in ostracism!

I'll be driving 6.5 hours, for an event like this, I think it'll be worth it!
You'll be seeing some of the best runners in the world! Who knows when this will be back in the USA or this close.
You should definitely go. It's about a 5.5 hour drive for me as well. I went to the Letsrun meetup in Paris and it was very neat to meet the brojos, Jonathan Gault, and the various people there.
Do I think this event will be as awesome as the Olympics? Probably not. But it will probably never be easier to get to than a 5.5 hour drive for the rest of my lifetime.
