If you look at the scoring, of the guys you mentioned, only Burns scored, and he was fifth. Fasthorse was well back, Echohawk was top seven but didn't score. Birnbaum didn't score.

It was the Ducks first Big 10 xc win and their first conference xc win since 2008 which is hard to believe (On the Big 10 network, they incorrectly said it the Ducks first conference title since since 2015).

Am I the only one who feels like having insane NIL money, full scholarships, crazy coaching salaries, a 270 million dollar facility, and the biggest historic relevance within the sport SHOULD win a conference title or two? The fact that it took 4 XC seasons to be relevant and in the national conversation actually seems long overdue. I'm sure he's a fine coach, but praising conference titles and top 10 rankings for the richest and best funded program in the history of the sport seems overly kind. Happy to see Oregon back in the conversation they should have always been in. I do think it's good for the sport that they are relevant again. However, "silencing the haters" seems like a hilarious statement. Goliath finally landed a blow on David & it's surprising?
