I make that much in Ohio in my early 30s. I don't mention it. I don't think it matters much anyway as professional women my age make over $100k/year, so $200k isn't THAT

My son ran for a big name college. He is 6'2", fit, and good looking. He earns $200K per year but can't find a date. He works in a tech field with all men. He tries dating sites but has almost no luck. How do you get the word out that you make good money?
I hate for you to be the last one who knows but I am dating your son.
Say you're a dude who is decent looking and has no major flaws who also makes $200k/year or more. What is dating like for a guy like that? Can you get pretty much anyone? Do you have to watch out for golddiggers? How do you even go about dating and finding a real connection when you make that much? Just keep it to yourself as much as you can? I'm curious.
Also, I know some people will say that's not much. There are a handful of places in the US where that is not impressive, but in most areas, that is WAY more than almost everyone makes, especially women. Let's assume for the sake of discussion I'm not talking about SF or Manhattan etc.
From my perspective: I don't date a lot. The women I have dated, since my divorce 8 years ago, are women I knew prior to dating. We had the same circle of friends or were acquaintances so there was a level of trust.
I'm also attracted to educated, independent career women. So none of them "needed" my money.
I think it does depend on where you live. I live in a small city surrounded by what they used to call "bedroom communities".
So literally almost no serious answers in this thread? Interesting. Apparently no one on letsrun makes anywhere near that amount or even closely knows anyone in that league. More evidence that this board is full of a bunch of basement dwellers.
I'm a scientist, 50s, make $210k, am 5'10" with no glaring flaws or deformities. I have a nice house with a pool, drive a nice car, travel in Europe every year or two. I don't notice any special interest from women, so I don't buy OP's theory.
There really is a lot of luck involved. The serendipitous situations that I've met the women I've dated can make anyone believe in the butterfly effect.
