The chairman of the Norwegian Athletics Federation (appointed this year, and not a part of the conflict) had as his agenda to communicate with all parts, and thus try to «fix» or at least calm the conflict. But after his contact with Gjert he has given up, and concluded that Gjert cannot be reasoned with. And that Gjert repeatedly has threatened to ruin the preparations and participation of one or more athletes (clearly Jakob) if he doesn’t get his way (accreditations and so on). Your interpertation of the correspondence is similar to how marxists read Karl Marx :) No, what you state as facts are not facts. Gjert was quit open, also how he got inspiration from others like the swimming trainer Ørjan Madsen. He put a lot of elements together. Jakob has no obligation to flee his (and his wife's) hometown in order to prove that Gjert is harassing him, or has abused him and four other siblings. Gjert has repeatedly threatened to sabotage him, so it is only reasonable that Jakob doesn't want him lurking around at meets. Also, Gjert and Narve seem more interested in creating negativity in the norwegian press than actually winning anything.

He treats his family - his own kids - like they are his enemy. It shows why they have had enough of him and took him to court.
If you're going to publicly attack a man's character, the least you can do is get your facts straight. The sons and daughter didn't take Gjert to court. Norwegian authorities pressed charges after the three running sons published a hit piece against Gjert in a public news outlet. Talk about treating your family like the enemy.
Jakob and his sister offered evidence against their father. They could have declined to do so and the charges would have been dropped.
So what is your motivation for defending Gjert? His skills as a coach are not in question but his character is. You appear to draw no distinction between the two.
