A Norwegian wins the women's 400, just like we all expected.
You are just ignorant. You possibly don´t know how she placed in Silesia?
It is not surprising at all that Jæger won on a day where Naser was not at her best.

Werro is definitely capable of challenging for global medal.
Only issue is Nowe and the Kenyan from last week are doped to the gills so there's little chance of beating them.
Kovacs looking like he’s taken the USATF loss hard, wearing track pants and a hoodie!
another great win for him though. Trials are brutal. Love em
Dylan Beard lining up… doesn’t miss many meets! Was just at NACAC

9th at USAs in the semis, 9th in the finals, and 9th today. I feel for her, but I think her fan club needs to reassess whether she is a lock for the WC team.
Sub-13 for Tinch!
Tinch can beat Holloway the worlds.

Think he is the favorite at this point. Holloway doesn't seem as good this year. That Japanese guy could upset though.

Don't forget about that Muratake guy from JPN. Got a 12.92 a few days ago.
Is Tinch on the sauce?

She beat Nowe by 8 meters fifteen minutes ago
what happened to the athletes lounge show (I know it sucked but you could mute them and watch the meet)?
Surprising to look back on the US champs and realize none of these women (who are all solid) were top 3 at USAs.

Still not sure how Naser peaked in April for a season where the championship is in September
I suspect she’ll be fine
her last WC win was in September

That was a really strange 400m, it's like every single name except Jaeger and Klaver just decided to stroll. Were they that affected by the cold and rain?
I'm guessing a combination of the weather and the quick turnaround time from Silesia. Here are the times from the two meets:
Klaver is the only one who ran at Silesia who ran faster today: 50.53 -> 50.17.

they ran it before the meet. on the same tab as the world feed.
Rain isnt helping times, but so long as no injuries, I'm enjoying the harsh conditions. Bring on XC.
The entire track is a steeplechase water pit for these women today.
3000m hurdles

For real, this is actually crazy how much rain is coming down right now.
This may be the first time I've seen an XC meet break out right in the middle of a Diamond League meet.
