Better question yet: Who are the most uneducated LRs on this board? Congratulations, you qualify! Do you have any idea of the difference between "respective" and "perspective"? Obviously, you don't, so congratulations on outing yourself as an uneducated ding dong!
No guarantee that even he was clean. Even before Rono; Viren, Cierpinski, and others used steroids. Before the 70s there was still performance enhancing drugs, they just weren’t quite as helpful as later ones. I bet there has been cheating by the top athletes in some form or another all the back to the beginning of the modern Olympics at the end of the 1800s.
The idiots who say that everybody is juiced out of their heads must think that Kenyans have the IQ of gnats. I'm considered a racist for thinking that a country with 400+ doping busts has rampant doping, but these guys think the average Kenyan dopes no harder than anybody else, but simply has such an inferior IQ differential that they are 100x more likely to make a mistake and get caught.
Having said that, I realize that most of these posters are probably paid trolls under Aden, Rosa, Beradelli ('everybody is doping dude, no need to get upset about an 18 year old Kenyan coming out of nowhere and destroying Josh Kerr in his 4th ever race - Kerr is juiced out of his head too').
The testing details are designed to allow some doping. That says a lot. I think the east Africans use remote locations to their advantage while the US and Europe use newer methods.
I find it hard to believe somebody like Cam Myers or Hobbs Kessler or Ethan Strand are dirty. Maybe I’m naive and don’t think these younger kids are doping. Maybe they’re doing grey area stuff. Maybe the bicarb and the shoes are truly that good. Tough to tell.
And none of them medaled. Look at any US medalist at Olympics or Worlds over the past 40 years and I would bet A LOT all doped.
They’re likely doping. I have a hunch every elite is. It’s too easy to get away with, and none of these guys or women throughout the years has struck me in the least bit as humble and honest. Look beyond the obvious front they put up and I see a lot of deceit, manipulation, narcissism, hubris, and selfishness. Every one of them would risk cheating to win and be famous. No exceptions.
I don’t see deceit, manipulation, narcissism, hubris and selfishness in any American distance runner. Can you provide some names and links to interviews that support your beliefs?

TUEs. Conveniently timed sicknesses requiring predinsone, ADD meds, albuterol inhalers, thyroid meds. It’s all legal, but questionable.
Why would they confine themselves to what is legal when they can get even better results from proscribed drugs and when the chances of being caught are slim and mainly confined to "the dumb and the careless"?
The clean track and field world records are all listed on track and field news in the lists section. Anyone with their name on this list has not been popped for drug use, which means that they are clean. Happy to clear this up!
It means they haven't been caught. Happy to clear this up.
Synthetic testosterone was developed in the 30's, other anabolics in the 60's. Theory of blood bags published by US Navy in the 40's, banned in 1984 with no test in place, after Olympic cyclists admitted to use. Amphetamines used widely in WWII.
Walter George was a pharmacist by trade. So don't tell me any of his times were legit in the 1880s.
The guy lowered the mile WR from 4:20 something to 4:10 in a few years. So I guess the real record's 4:20 something.
If you've beat that, you're doping IMO
So what drugs were known to improve athletic performance in 1880? And if the drugs were so good why was the best in the world over 10 seconds slower than a 16 year old today? So the 16 year old must also be on something?

Why do you come to a thread speculating about doping when your only apparent concern is about grammar? Do you think bad grammar means no doping?
WVN, Syd and Warholm are all not clean. In fact, the performances of WVN and Warholm with the lack of slowing in the final straight off of incredible starts are indicative of certain PED use. For Syd, just look at who she's associated with, seems to lack emotion like a user would too because of the subconscious guilt factor.

Van Niekerk ran the final 100m of his 400m world record in 12.0 seconds. He slowed down tremendously.

George was a pharmacist's apprentice. Not an actual pharmacist. There are people behind the pharmacy desk at Rite Aid or CVS who are probably more knowledgeable about drugs than the general public but don't know all that much. George was the 19th century version of those people. He may have figured a thing or two out and put it to use but that's speculation. Really, if you want to make a more likely accusation of this kind Roger Bannister, being a med student, would likely have been in a better position than George to get some chemical help. And in no way am I saying he did, to be clear.

The last time this thread existed you claimed that Iean Thomas was the clean WR holder for 400m.
That is why you are laughed at and not taken seriously. (Amongst other dumb takes)
