Right. Ridiculous to think that she could approach 4:07 with a style like that and record so far. Someone said marathon? Nope - too tall she might be good but not great. Someone else said remind them of Mary Decker??! That made me LOL no resemblence at all. However, she might make waves at 5/10 we shall see.
How long have you been in this sport? You are very hare-brained aren’t you?
Can’t you see that this beautiful running figure Jane has the most sus running biomechanics ever since the founding of America?? It’s just picture perfect example of undoped natural talent, I know it because I have ran like her before in years past. I exhibited the same running nirvana as she did using the same exact biomechanical space-time intervals!! She runs completely off of her mid-section center of gravity, maximising oxygen efficiency by using least amount of energy for each gait cycle at COG, a bit like Lasse Viren. She could run like that forever if not exaggerating!!
She will be good at all distances including world XC!!
She runs from the hips. All the force generated from her hips is only efficient for her because they are so rock stable. This then allows her to easily dissipate lateral ground forces with each landing and reapply torque from same foot and conserve that rotation through her highly aerated belly. The key is to not run out of air in the belly so that it can absorb and transfer the rotational forces forwards. Did I get it right?
She's a marathoner. Just looking at the way she runs. Reminds me of Paula. She's going to run 2:15 in LA.
Paula was the most unsightly garbage you could witness with that head spin. Jane doesn’t run like that. She is a smooth operator out there. Gotta give her credit. Cooper Lutkenhaus is also another smooth operator. Finally some PED free real talents on show.

There's no point asking The King of Physics about Newton's laws, he doesn't understand them.
My eyes are well trained and have accumulated over 1000000 data points male and female throughout its existence on this earth. Jane has anything but a shuffling stride!! This is an inaccurate description!! She has a gravitational stride that’s what it’s called dude!!
It’s just that her pendulums in the upper half of her gorgeous running figure is a little more elongated thus providing the illusion that her stride is short and understriding. The optical wavelengths hitting your retina reflected from the top half of her gorgeous figure averages with the optical wavelengths hitting from her lower half!! Your brain thus produces an average feel of what is captured by your retina which is inaccurate!! The way around that is to focus only on her legs and ignore her upper section!! That way you can see her stride for what it is——world class!!
Learn some physics !!
definitely one of the weirdest posts ever on lr.com
the architectural wares is there just not as lithe as the calisthenics ethiopians. not as explosive but still efficient enough. shes still young so age in on her side unlike some dudes like fisher and nuguse.
Janes wins the Gatorade track and field player of the year award. No doubt the Natalie Dumas fans are a little disappointed. Touhy apparently gave her the award. They show 4 trophies in the picture but that is not enough, right?
addressing my point, I guess they had both pose with the 2 awards (XC and T&F) they won in the same year - only 2 ever now to win 2 awards in same year I guess?

I like Natalie Dumas but she broke zero national records compared to Jane Hedengren who broke a national record so many times that most people have lost track of how many times she broke a national record.

I think even Katelyn's 2 km mark caught a stray in Jane's record-breaking rampage. 5:47 and change enroute I believe during Jane's 9:17 2-mile (I think during the 3 km record she went through 2 km at 5:49.).
