Gonna see 4+ squads under the world record in the 4xmile IMO
Doubt it. It tends to go tactical, and the projected weather is calling for it to be warm and wet-ish for next week.
dunno…if i had to guess, unc wants a fast time. it’s the last season with strand and wolfe together and wolfe looks healthy now. i bet they gun for it.
am i deaf? did she not say she was going to pace through 8k?
Maybe I’m deaf. I thought she said 3k. I guess we’ll see.
What ended up happening with Hartman pacing? I see Fiona Smith DNFed. How far did each of them get? The results site doesn't give any splits for runners who DNF.
Andrews days are numbered. Not sure why she’s wasting her time in a mile race. Other than the fact that she’s entering a race without the top milers so she can at least make podium. Never runs well when the competition is tough. Miss Time Trial
Never a fan. She’s a head case. Never succeeds racing with competition better than her. Totally stuck in time trial mode with no success in strategic races. It’s over.

yes it does. Hartman went thru 6000 in 20:12.97, Smith 5600 at 19:03.94
Why is LetsRun putting all this time into the London Marathon? Penn and Drake Relays are this weekend with a lot of great HS and College teams there. Put the effort there or at least put the link to results higher up on the page.
One of the commentators is awful. Just said 65 seconds was a "comfortable" pace for the lead women DMR anchors and that they should run around 4:10 for the mile.
what I don't understand is why Flockhart of Providence would not go harder from the start to open up more of a lead for her team. She was fastest 1200 but by a small margin.

he is a sprinter, and the lead announcer gently corrected him.
How does Martin run "only" 3:53 and not catch those guys. He's a 3:48 guy taking the baton far back but within catching distance. Was it really windy or rainy or something?

just to enlighten I believe she was about 68/2:19 and then a big kick to run 3:18.59 but she should be capable of faster than that if she began moving a bit earlier.
