That is a true college freshmans age, not high school. In my opinion, there should be a cut-off age after which one cannot be considered for high school records anymore. Allowing older athletes to compete can take away from the achievements of younger athletes and the integrity of the records set by them. At the end of the day, age does play a significant role in sports, and it's something worth considering when it comes to high school competitions.
