They promote rapists, cheats, and sweatshops. They are everything that is wrong with capatilism. At one point they had buildings named after a cycling cheat, someone that penetrated Kara Goucher, which is rape, and Paterno that was part of a child molestation cover up. These are things no company should survive even without the exploitation of humans in the East.

Wow. If you think this is about "wokness" you are truly ignorant.
If anything, Adidas is the much more "wok" company. (For example, they have had more female executives than American rivals for years, likely in part because they are Europe-based.)

Keep your eye on the price, and look to buy Nike around 11/15 this year. Nike is not going away and new mgt team has good plan to get growing again. I have a friend who owns a running specialty store chain (5 stores). They're going to start carrying Nike.
They're changing and the change is for the better. They'll be back.

Nike needs to bring out some super expensive pickleball shoes so that all the super cool 70-year-old non-grandparents (their daughters and sons are too driven to make time to have kids) can add something else to their “I’m cool” list. Also, all the pickleball “professional” coaches can have a new product to recommend to the members of their cult.

I'm thankful that I have 4 pair of running shoes that can last a while but I don't think they'll outlast the coming depression.

If you’re retiring more than 10 years from today, you’ll probably wish you had purchased Nike stock this year. It will likely go lower before it goes higher, but I’m betting it goes significantly higher in the next 10 years.
Lululemon and On are both getting crushed right now too. Expensive apparel that will be tariffed and people will less willing to spend $120 on a sweatshirt if we dip into a recession. There will be buying opportunities.

Nike actually went up 3% yesterday. Unfortuntely "liberation day" made it drop much more the day before.
