Ingebrigtsen fans don't run and don't know anything about running. They wouldn't know this sport existed without click bait YouTube thumbnails, there's no way to win an argument with these fanboys.

I see you’ve gone under a new name, how interesting.
I don't see the purpose of a time-trial in training. You're never going to get the best out of yourself without competition or a race atmosphere, so what's the point?
Leave the carrot in the ground or go and find a race.
It bears mentioning when a runner with a strong kick works on his deficiencies. Previously, that strength improvement helped him win World gold and an indoor 2M record and indoor gold. This additional work will keep him in medal contention. This pace may be only about 3 seconds below Jakob's threshold pace at this point, but it only needs to be better or easier than Kerr has done before to serve its function.
You can only effectively work on your strengths, and not your deficiencies. No matter how they train, Kerr will beat Ingebrigtsen in distances below, or at 1500m, and Jakob will beat him at distances at, or above, 1500m. Kerr can run video taped tempos, until the cows come home, but he’s going to smoked at 3K and 5K by Jakob.
I really cant stand Kerr, but saying he "revels in his ignorance" is bizarre when what he is doing is clearly working and has given him a Gold/Silver in the last 2 outdoor global finals.
Exactly what I was initially calling out. And Jakob fans like always predictably go to accolades. Accolades that have not helped him beat Kerr when it counts the last 2 years.

Interesting you think only one person has my sentiment. And for the record I appreciate Kerr and Jakob for that matter but Nuguse is by far my favorite.
That's how I reacted after trying to watch the "what happened at millrose" video. Dude got sick, and proceeded to make a whole video about it; only to then scrap the rest of the indoor season while all of his other teammates kept competing.
As for the time trial, Josh ran an 8k at 28:00 10k pace; Jakob could probably solo a 26:59 10k if he wanted to with no pacing. Meanwhile, there were college kids running that fast in cross country. Jakob could probably care less, especially since he has actual races coming up. Josh - see ya at grand slam, better bring it in the 800!

To clarify, I meant college kids running as fast as (or faster than) Josh Kerr for 8km but in cross country.
