Ran outside lane 1 and finished in lane 2 off the turn. As if someone was going to pass. Could have been 1:42.

Brave race by Tobias. Committed to the lead and pushed it with that third lap.
Really impressive progression too, she was ran 58.3/2:13 in Texas as a prep and developed at UT Austin
shout out to her coach at UT, former american record holder and olympian pattisue plummer, now at UCSB
Great race by Hoey.
What was Shane Cohen thinking out there, does he always walk off the line like that?
Just blasted away from Miller…
is he on track for 1:42 low outdoors????
Lewis Johnson - "A shocking performance"
Yes I’m sure hoey hasn’t been tested once since breaking all these records. He is definitely doped to the gills!
Also Hoey looked super ez. Went to the front & dominated. Miller has been between 1:43.7-1:45.3 over the last 5 years. Made him look irrelevant.

he’s number 2 in world history indoors. at this rate he’s on track for 1:41 low outdoors.
Is it just sodium bicarb or more?
Why was there a cop holding the finish line tape? I thought there was about to be a doping bust on live TV (just kidding, I have little reason to doubt Hoey more than any other top runner).
I also don't think his form is that horrible. It's a little lanky but I can think of pros who look less efficient. Different forms work best for different people based on their mechanics, symmetry and strength.
The indoor 400 is a psychotic event. I’m surprised there aren’t more falls.
bailey cut it close. he’s always gotten out significantly slower than his competition, and that almost bit him in the ass. running wide on the turn coming off the curve probably added a good half-second to his time.

by the way, someone get this guy a damn sponsorship
needed to be 2 separate heats for this. They don’t even put 6 for the 400 in one heat at ncaa’s

He will never be good indoors with his strategy. He can’t pick off 5 guys in the final 150 on a 200m track like he might be able to outdoors. He can’t adapt and it’s unlikely to work against top pros, it works on the NCAA 400/800m types who always rig up in the final 70
Steen pipped by Trip in Shot
:30 in and announcers around fumbling around with the pronouns, super confusing intro discussion
Shelby almost in lane 3
Wow Kara just mixed up "she" and "they" when referring to Hiltz, ugh
