I think if Gear doesn't get DQed, Wiley makes the final as a 7th runner. Results had a tie to the thousandth between Hurts and Gear, giving both of them a big Q.
very unlikely. they only want 6 runners in the final. The only exception was if there was a tie for a big Q
W800 h2 was initially a dead heat, then live results showed Gear winning over Hurta-Klecker by 0.001, and now it shows Gear as a DQ. Either way, Wiley is out of the final
showing Wiley out by 0.06 (though faster than Q Akins).
That's not how it works, this exact scenario happened at World Indoors last year (think it was the women's 60 hurdles) and there was just one less time qualifier, same amount of people in the final

I think it's pretty good, I see a timer on the top right, track is on the big screen on the left, 3 field cameras on the right, and results for field events on the bottom. It'd be nice to have field events on their own stream (not sure why that's not even an option), but if they had their own stream, I wouldn't be watching them so
Yeah i dont think its that bad other than i would switch the panel with the clock and start list for the track with the field stream boxes. Put the clock next to the event its relevant too.
Unfortunately no running clock shows for me on Windows 11 laptop.

I was thinking of the women's 400m where there was a 3-way dead heat in heat #3, as a result a protest was filed but ultimately there were just two fewer time qualifiers. See footnote here

I paid the $9.99 for the live stream. It’s super slow and choppy. It keeps stalling. Pretty disappointing.
I feel like I'm noticing that most often when they try to do the four-way split screen. When it was just showing (primarily) a running event, I didn't notice it as much (or maybe I wasn't sufficiently glued to my screen).
Edit: I take that back; it's very hit or miss. Was total trash before the W 3000 began, and now smoothed out (for who knows how long).

Coverage brutal - multiple windows that include simultaneous pentathlon events and no clock for running events. Give pentathlon and field events their own stream ugh! Also I had no luck using AirPlay to stream on TV.
pls tell me they will show the women's 3k without the other screens one which is currently blank right now

They should have a different feed for the field events. The field events ruin track when the broadcast attempts to mush everything together all at once.
I'd like to see a lot of these women run well, but I'll be really surprised if this doesn't become the Houlihan, Hiltz, and Morgan show over the last 600 meters.
