The Penn relay 600 m was also long. Seriously, watch where the stagger was, and how many turns they ran and which line they started from.
Penn Relays track in general just sucks. Who in the HELL thinks a waterfall 4x4 is a good idea??
Worst track I've ever witnessed, I don't know why it's such a popular meet
....
I actually 100%. Personally I dislike the setup and look of the track and it is the sole reason I don't attempt to watch the meet. I do look for the results but over the years I totally lost interest in Penn Relays and the horrendous rail between lanes 3 & 4 😮.
1:48.21 last week to take 7th at the Atlanta City Games, first sub 1:50 in 2 years. Yet more good progression, hoping he lowers it further as the season progresses 🙏
46.06 last weekend for a SB on the outdoor 400 at Music City, which is the closest he's ran to his 45.78 PR he set in 2022. He did DNF while running the 800m though, hoping he didn't get hurt. Or maybe he was just pacing?
Gold medalist no thanks to him... *cough* 47.27 split
For real that Gold medal was for all intents and purposes gifted to him and he could have potentially caused the US to not make the final with his sh!it split... shouldn't have even been there.

Truly, this time was slightly faster than what some of the US women could split in the 4x4 at the Olympics… he’s a great talent and bring up that Olympic medal just does him a disservice.

Just saw in another thread that he had hurt his hamstring and wasn't supposed to run the 4x4 but had to cause of Norman and Hall being out. Need to find the interview to confirm.
