The best scene is the baptism scene at the end of Godfather. Cutting between the ceremony and the hits. Nothing else is even close and the use of music in that scene is the best I've ever seen.
Inspired by Eisenstein's use of montage in The Battleship Potemkin
John Rolfe and Pocahontas meeting up near the end of The New World
Final scene of Le Bonheur
The opening scenes of The Thin Red Line
Takashi swings on the swing in Ikiru
Asami cuts of the leg in Audition
Bheem is tortured in RRR
Test drive in How to Train Your Dragon
Great pics, especially the swing scene in Ikiru. I'll add a few of mine:
Noah Cross educates Jake Gittes about wealth's true purpose - power and control of 'The Future' - Chinatown
Chaos ensues in the farm house after Ben wins the fight for the gun as the zombies break in and new zombie kid chows down on Dad and stabs Mom with a trenching tool - NOTLD
Harmonica's backstory is finally revealed during his duel with Frank - OUATITW
George Bailey's home owning philosophy wins over the Building & Loan Board but forces him to choose Bedford Falls over a life of adventure - It's A Wonderful Life
Dersu Uzala saves the Captain's life via an improvised shelter as a murderous storm approaches
The entire Dexter Lake Club sequence - Animal House
Veronica Cartwright makes a tragic assumption at the very end of 1978's Invasion of the Body Snatchers
The Schofield Kid realizes what he is truly not and what Will Munny truly is after his first murder - Unforgiven
Joan Allen returns home after a decade to find Hachi is still waiting for her late husband (if you don't cry, you aren't human)
Marge Gunderson struggles to understand why Grimsrud could do what he did for a little bit of money - Fargo
Toto finally watches the film bequeathed to him by Alfredo and realizes how much he loved him (even more emotional in the real non-Miramax cut) - Cinema Paradiso
Uncle Charlie reveals his true nature to his namesake niece as she tries not to throw up from the horror of what a monster he is - Shadow of A Doubt
The blood test sequence in The Thing (1982) - the sound of the blood's reaction is my ultimate jump scare - I know it's coming and it still gets me every time!
Finally - the one scene I would rewatch over and over again if only given one choice because of its sheer humanity, its understanding of why sacrificing yourself for someone you love is the purest act there is, and honestly, why the spoken word will never surpass what the power of facial acting can accomplish - the finale of City Lights as the flower girl realizes who the Tramp is and what he gave up for her to see again.
My personal favorite. I'll never forget watching this scene in the movie theatre during the film's opening weekend. I've never heard a movie crowd erupt with such loud cheers and applause.

City Lights and Cinema Paradiso are my two favorite films with Chinatown in my top 5.
