Shelby served her suspension. She is clean as of Jan 1. But Hiltz continues to demand certain pronouns while competing as a woman. I don't care what her pronouns are. The announcers are calling a race based on the sex of the competitors.
It amazes me how worked up some people get about gender neutral pronouns. You don't have to believe in it, but just respect the way someone wants to be addressed. We do it in so many other situations - military officers usually get referred to by their title, as do university professors, and politicians. Referring to Hiltz by they/them pronouns is no more difficult than referring to (e.g.) Professor Johnson. Failing to do so is just deliberately obnoxious

Who trusts negative tests? You? Just have a look at how many negative tests Armstrong and Houlihan had. It's normal for dopers to get away with their doping most if not all of the time. Some screw up sooner or later, others never.

It doesn't work that way. Most people that cheat don't get caught. But since we have no tangible evidence I accept that there is at least the possibility they are clean.
But once they're caught there is tangible evidence of their intent to cheat. That didn't just happened overnight. Once someone is caught it taints all prior performances, in my mind.
Those on here defending Houlihan have lost it. She should never be able to compete again. She cheated and she lied. This isn't a capital case she can go and make a living doing anything else. No one has an absolute right to be a professional athlete. On top of that she's shameless and obviously has zero remorse for her actions.

Nothing more, nothing less. She can choose to live her life that way. Its her decision. She isn't entering races she shouldn't.
As for Pronouns, who cares? I won't use them but I enjoy the verbal gymnastics the race callers go through.

She says she isn't a woman, but she races in the women's division. So she makes demonstrably false claims and then benefits financially from participating in the system that she is actively attacking. The irony is that she'd make much less money if there was a non-binary category for women who style themselves with short hair, and effeminate men because the second and third-rate effeminate men would wipe the floor with her.
She may be a fierce competitor, and that is to be lauded. But it doesn't mean she isn't a crumby character who has dedicated a considerable amount of energy to tearing down things other people have built -- and without a constructive vision for improving it.
