This is legitimately my favorite kick video of all time
im pretty sure this motivated me to do hill sprints immediately watching it the first time. that kid had the most beautiful kick. even if we don't see that level of dominance again from him, i just wanna see him and McDonald put up a well fought battle in a lowkey DL (maybe the LA meet or Oslo 5k)
And what happened to Syracuse? They had a brief run where they won the chip and were one of the best teams but then they fell off. Why couldn’t they sustain their success?
Syracuse has had one of the longest streaks going to nationals and recently placing pretty well 2024: 11th 2023: 9th 2022: 12th 2021: 19th 2020: 30th 2019: 27th 2018: 26th 2017: 13th 2017 was the last year knight was on the team, seems like they took a bit of time after his departure to regroup but seem to have made a really good push back into the one of the nations best teams and don't the fact that they've amped up their recruiting game, picking up two sub 4:05 guys in 2023 and 5 sub 9 guys in 2024. So immediately after Knight's time at syracuse they moved out of the spotlight but are slowly making their way back in.

Legit curious, does any of it have to do with Chris Fox departing and then coming back?
If Donovan Brazier can get a splash page over a time that wouldn't win NCAAs, this site will probably crash if Knight goes sub 13 again.
Dude was sort of the last bastion of guys that didn't have the ready access to supershoes- pretty stark difference between Knights class and, say, a Nico Young (not saying one is inherently better or worse, just talking about NCAA eras)
