Imagine suck in an event yet you have three u20 golds and one senior gold. Everyone else must suck even more.
Yes, but you are taking my words way too literally -Jakob only sucks in a relative way; relatively to his own other stellar achievements and his own words and thoughts. Don’t forget that I’m a huge Jakob fan, and haven’t given him up in any events whatsoever. And in the 1500m -2mile he is just already WOW..
Everyone might win in a championship. Not everyone win three championship finals in a row. Only someone *check notes* who suck in the event could do that, if we should believe your nonsense.
No, they didn’t. Because of the things I mentioned. Sometimes championships are really coincidentally and fragile, but one of the reasons for the wins (in addition to the things I have mentioned) is that Jakob scores as a hot temperatures freak, that lowers the 5000m pace unnaturally so the Norwegian can dominate by his 1500m ability. -Very unfair, but again not Jakob’s fault…
The event starts with female U20 race und the complete podium from Brussel will compete again. It should be a safe tip to see Innes FitzGerald ( UK ) and Sofie Thogersen ( Denmark ) at places 1 and 2 again. For Jade Le Corre ( France ) it can be more difficult - she might be challenged from Elsa Sundqvist ( Sweden ) , Shirin Kerber ( Suisse ) , Jess Bailey ( UK ) and the Norway exceptional U18 talent Wilma Anna Bekkemoen Torbiörnsson. Team medal prediction - Gold UK , Silver Suisse , Bronze France
Jakob shouldn’t run Euros xc (except the current one, which is crippled down to 7.8k, and therefore ruined, but manageable for him) -a stellar athlete like him shouldn’t compete in events he sucks in!

FOUR U20 golds and TWO senior golds as far as I remember!

Or maybe you have to dig out your thesaurus and choose some better words?

Or maybe the two time 5000m world champion and olympic 5000m champion simply is pretty great at running 5000m.
If I remember correctly: The Norwegian NRK Television reporters first mentioned that rumours had it that there was covid in the Ethiopian team. Then sometimes later they said a couple of times that it was Gebrhiwet, and I haven’t later heard any denial of this… But the point is that Hagos clearly wasn’t the same 12.36 man as he was at Bislett, covid or not…

I like Jakob very much, both as an athlete and as a person. And I like the totality of his project -the building of stone on stone, and even 90% of his big talking. But this doesn’t mean that I’m not allowed to stress that this year the competition seems much harder than ever (in the Euros xc), e.g by Almgren and Ndikumwenayo…
In 2023 Jakob answered yes to a direct question if he could break the WR in the 5000m ”right now”. -Well, in my opinion he might be right, or he might be wrong. Because I think, like all the rest of us, that he is just guessing. (He has stressed that he can’t see what he can do in the races based on his training -it’s not race specific enough).
I see some indications for Jakob being worse the longer the distance above 3000m. But I’m not sure what that really means. But I think it’s relevant to point out…
And I think it’s hilarious how a lot of you fans seem to be determined by your feelings and hopes. -I put in some nuances, and some of you get really mad…
