I truly believe Yared Nuguse isn't doping. He has the most beautiful stride when he is rolling. Amazing talent and to me his development makes a lot of sense.
High School - super underdeveloped with crazy talent
College - major jump with an actual program
Pro - altitude, super shoes, no school - another huge jump

I'm not trying to shame anyone. Just trying to discern the realities at the highest level of the sport. Is it even possible to run 26:30 or 12:40 or 3:28 without doping? I'm guessing not. Shoes help, sure, but the top Africans, plus the U.S., Euro and Aussie/NZ/other athletes who are seriously contending for medals and all-time list marks? Unfortunately, I believe it's not possible w/o doping, because too many folks have been doing so not to.
They all have to make this choice, if they want to have a chance at the very top. Now, those are making U.S. teams but not necessarily contending for medals? I could believe there's still holdout non-dopers at that level, yes. But if you want to be the best, you have to do what the best are doing, unfortunately. You may get caught, or you may not if you know the latest strategies and are savvy enough.
I don't know, you tell me. Is all that basically the truth, or is it still possible to be at the highest level and be clean?
Connor Mantz. (100%)
Nico Young.
This might sound crazy but hear me out…..Kenny MF Bekele!
The reason I think he’s clean is he struggled with so many injuries like you would expect from a runner as he gets older. He wasn’t impervious to the laws of aging like a doper.

Personally don't think doping is a huge issue, think we'd see more elite athletes dying young. Also did you see the lions wr got caught doping and only served two weeks? At least our sport tries.

I don’t believe you need Rudisha type form but Young’s form is truly terrible. No way he’s clean. Especially with his massive progression in an Olympic year…

I would personally have a hard time believing Kipchoge dopes. Why? His character. He seems to be a rather noble individual who routinely speaks about integrity and morality. I know he has had extraordinary performances, but extraordinary performances alone isn't really evidence of cheating.

El Guerrouj had a near perfect stride as well.
I would be very sad if any of the following got popped
Faith Kipyegon
Athing Mu
Yared Nuguse
Grant Fisher
Keely Hodgison
Hobbs Kessler
(probably naive but I'll throw Kipchoge in there).
Kejelcha for sure, and Peter Bol as well. Both highly accomplished athletes that I'm very confident are not on anything. For the rest of the "top 1%ers" it could go either way. I'd hope that they're not doping, but I'm a skeptical person at the end of the day.
This thread is about as useful and relevant as asking "So who do you think has a massive penis?" You can guess and wish all you want, but most answers are going to be extremely wrong until someone actually whips it out. There's nothing wrong with HOPING someone doesn't dope (or has a ten inch schlong), but your guess is as bad as the next guy's. That handsome 6'4" guy could be packing a baby dill, and that sweaty, balding 5'4" guy could have a baseball bat in his boxers. Just like a fresh-faced, apple-pie, girl-next-door sweetheart could be micro-dosing EPO out the yin yang. Plenty of "nice" people are capable of cheating.
