T100 will be his jam when he gives up Oly distance.
LA 2028 seems likes a waste. Another quad slogging around the world chasing rankings. It's unforgiving and unglamorous. Lugging your bike through airports, breaking it down, rebuilding it for every bad race. Man, it gets old. It's not a pro runners life. ITU / WTS tri geeks got it bad. Pros do it all themselves. It's not world tour cycling with soigneurs, chefs, and people cleaning/moving all your stuff. Pro triathlon is just amateur sport but with crowds.
Morgan has been plagued with back issues. Consistency has not been there but he can win any day he toes the line and others in ITU know it. That will motivate him further in ITU if he chooses.
He has the bike strength now to hold power for T100. Needs time to get his back dialed in a tt position is all. He could win T100's right now if his back holds up. Let's see him get a wildcard entry and freak the others out.
IM Is a complete joke. A money drain for almost all pros. And IM made a cheesy series to try to dial up interest, a la the superior T100 series. Morgan has way too much speed to dumb down and throw away in 70.3 or IM.
He should mix in some T100 racing with ITU. Definitely at the beginning of the next quad which is now (next season). He has time to play around.
