How is referring to an arc-trainer - which she uses - slander?
For what it’s worth, I can confirm that she was in serious talks with NB. She was with the team in Eugene and fairly certain she was in Boston. That timing of this announcement feels like it’s someone other than Nike. I believe NB is very invested in middle distance and distance on both the men’s and women’s sides going forward into 2028. Blanks will be going through this same process in a few months and believe that NB is open to allowing these potential pros to train where they want and also to choose the coach of their choice. But who knows.
