Ciattei, CPT both looked pretty tired. Hopefully Ciattei can get back to his top level with some good racing opportunities coming up. Decent from Suliman and Renewiecki (who was out front a while). Pihlstrom is a good kicker.

Wow, really impressed with Ky Robinson running 3:52.79 and almost stealing the W from the milers. Pihlstrom of Sweden 3:52.50 for the win.
Was Olivia a 6th year this year? I thought she was a true senior, but she’s 24?

OAC new recruits all running quite well is the trend it seems.

Tim Hutchings talking about Markezich’s PB coming in being 4:52 is just stupid. Not only has she run 4:27 but even if her mile PR was technically an old 4:52, she’s an 8:40 3k/9:14 steeple runner. Seems like Hutchings had never heard of her.
So that actually was Hutchings? I thought he sounded like an imitation, lol.

Ramsden pressed the pace, but was overtaken in the last 100m.

So thrilled that Tuohy beat Andrews and almost Hurta !! Woohoo!
She did not almost beat Hurta.

Surprised Olivia got the W.
Has it set in yet that Markezich just took the scalp of the heralded multiple 1500m NCAA champion in the champion’s event??

Olivia and Ramadan whipped Hurta’s butt!

yes but Ramsden did just go through that Paris event
Yikes that looked like a painful last 100m for Tuohy. Still should be encouraged by this result, 4:26 and 15:07 is trending back where she needs to be.
Parsons time?

Dude, watch the video clip I posted above. Hurta ceded no ground to Tuohy in the last 100m; if anything, she opened the gap further.🙄
But nonetheless, that was a decent run for KT to come away with 4th, while Sage maybe underperformed a bit.
Markezich was a surprise kicking down and away Ramsden.

Fair enough. They have both been training together over in Europe.
I assume Tuohy is gonna try to take a crack at the 14:50 worlds standard over the next month.
Olivia looked great! And I agree that maybe Maia is a bit tired as she did have the Olympics whereas Olivia got to train and relax in st moriz

This does not surprise me at all. Ramsden is lucky that Markezich focused on steeple.
