Definitely worried about venues/traffic/public transit/etc. Every event in Paris has looked great on tv. Sold out. Fans into it. Even the street events have looked awesome. Triathlon/marathon with people half a dozen deep at times. I'm skeptical that LA will look as good. I know people go crazy for the Olympics but it seems like the Europeans are a more active people who appreciate endurance events. Plus it's easy to navigate public transit in Paris. I guess we'll find out.

Lol. Go to Paris after the Olympics and it will be much different. I was there a month and half earlier and it was not clean and there were homeless. Loud and crowded even early in the morning. Public transportation was inefficient. CDG has a reputation for being one of the worst airports in the world.

Agree. Paris small and so easy to navigate. I've been here for 16 days and mostly moved by bicycle - 233km during the Olympics. I can't imagine that the LA games will be compact or easy to get around. But, LA did an amazing job in 1984 so there is hope.

USC loves to brag and pat itself on the back as the Alma Mater of Neil Armstrong, heart of the NASA Apollo Moon Program, NASA Space Shuttle Program, etc. and spent an outrageous $400 Million on a Space Shuttle Museum. How about USC replacing the 100 year old Coliseum with a Retractable Roof Sphere?

Paris has as much graffiti as any city in the world.
As far as homelessness, Paris also had to remove an extremely high amount homeless to beautify the street.

The venues are on the LA28 website. For fun, plug the locations in Google Maps and click directions. Then try and figure out where in the LA Basin it will be economical to stay
