Parker completed one of the best NCAA seasons of any female or male athlete. Making it to the Olympics was no small accomplishment. She performed well given her long season and the pressure of running in her first international competition. Her 11th place time of 30:59.28 was faster than all three US women from the Tokyo Olympics. She was closer to the winning time than all the women from Toyo Olympics. Given her age, ability to perform well in hot weather conditions, under developed aerobic engine, and untapped speed potential, point to a bright future. To put limits on her at this early stage of her professional athletic career has more to do with one's leaning toward negativity and lack of ability to see promise in people. Expect Great Things!!! is not hyperbole, but anticipation for her to reach her potential as a runner and as a fan the excitement of many years to watch her progress.
